After many grisly sundowns

After many grisly sundowns,
And days aghast,
There it was,
Ravenous senses were satisfied,
When it rained that night,
Actually the day that was not as bright.

Breaking self imposed shackles,
Swishing among people,
There I was,
Though getting wet, I plod.

Saw those mighty knights joust,
Swaying outstretched lances as they fought,
The blue into a cornucopia of white,
Shedding pellucid blood everywhere in sight.

Miles beneath, the gloom was all gone,
No more the angry sun shone,
Harbingers the swathing winds seemed to me,
Of happy, sheeny days rejoicing with glee.
Plebians on the street, roofs and open gates,
Playing, dancing, glibbing all along,
Prying at the fool they saw.
Pelting across here I was,
Assuaging myself with the flight.
Imparting thrill to the scented air,
The pruned grass, the excited fauna.
I was the nature and the nature was in me.
Here I was, though getting wet I plod!

THE STROKE OF MIDNIGHT

Time brought his two together,
Tattered jack worn off,
Bathed in the spring moonlight,
The golden bird was new tonight.
Like an angel, was risen from among them,
Stood top atop the heavens,
Garbed in the tripartite colors,
It was from them, for them,
Not at all from some foreign land,
Every eye upon him,
He looked at everyone down,
They had done it, he knew,
Tales he would tell others about those few.
But the morning was yet to come,
He had had to fly high before the sun shone,
Free from those waspy fretters now that he was.
He looked at those gaping cuts,
That would never go,
And Those burns which stopped singing long ago,
But now there was a silver lining,
None could ever see.
Were those sullen mugs shining,
As they had never been.
Were the hopes rising,
Elated like floods uneven.
Wasn’t the breeze singing,
Oozing its happy sheen.
Was the sky too sighing,
Amazed at the passion below.
Were those hearts racing,
To see him zip across.
It will be hard coz it’s been a while,
He wasn’t tired, but had he forgotten to fly.
Let the winds come, he then leapt,
Closed eyes and wind swept.
Wings pushing hard to gain some height,
And harder, before the first light.
He rose as he never had,
And it all came back to him,
He could still, gaining some more climb,
There was no stopping now,
Now the shackles all gone,
He rose as he never had.
The dawn was breaking,
The sun peeping around,
He was rising high as he never had.

own me again....

Downing rains along,

Cycling way ahead,

Living like it, I loved my life.

Coz I had always chanced to live like it,

All through this life.

Winds have stopped long back,

But the erosions they have made,

I hope they never fade.

Today I see them again in the north,

Rumbling across those winding roads,

To symbol impinges of that travel forever.

Wanting to be in the middle of the storm twice,

I’ll be the one to first set foot,

To let it hail me, trash me or atleast own me again!

whenever i see you, i see it all back

I still see your face in the dark,
You do that too but the face is not mine,
It pangs to see that you are not by my side,
And someone else follows you close behind,

To myself I lie, cry, deny the truth,
That you have dumped me in such a strife,

Lemme do this crime, lemme do this crime,
You have pierced my heart and it hurts so bad,
Coz what was left was a ruined shack,
With potraits of you and rest all black.

The rubble has settled but the ashes bear spark,
Whenever I see you I see it all back,

I was yours the moment I saw you first blush,
Have’nt forgotten those blue robes and hair all lush,
Never written such lines but for us I do that now,

There was a time when you walked through me;and I laughed out loud;iknow you know,
You don’t hear me;when you do that now and I shout out loud;I know you know,
Youknow i know that you evade,
I wanna reverse the path I’ve tread,

This is my life, you said and moved on,
But I stood there looking back in time,
What mistakes they were, what faults of mine,
That someone else follows you close behind,

Lemme do this crime, lemme do this crime,
You pierced my heart and it hurts so bad,
Coz what was left was a ruined shack,
With potraits of you and rest all black,
The rubble has settled but the ashes bear spark
Whenever I see you, I see it all back!

LOVED THAT WAY

Loved the way you looked me at,
Gave me jitters, wish you knew that,
Pretending to be somewhere but I,
Understood that you were all over me,
Ionizng me that very moment,
Stealing looks at me here and then,
Blinded by the flare of the flare of your glare,
Swellling heart and everything rest in a blur,
It’s been a while now that you have been around,
 Spoken to you never,
So each day I grow braver,
And realize that miles separate us,
The best is to remain aloof thus,
But the more I try to forget,
The more you seem to me just perfect,
The more you seem for me just perfect,
Rummaging inside,I wanna shake you off,
Coz I know I don’t deserve you,you are better aloft!

i'll start it from where it all started

Being basic as I am,
In a very nascent form,
You picked me up and flew,
Racing past everyone I knew,
Into the oblivion,
Where I knew noone,
Well! I you have left me here,
With diamonds all studded across the clear,
But for me such filth is no longer dear,
Don’t you remember I have forgotten to fear,
Last night I dreamt I am not stranded any more,
So, soon I am gonna find a back door,
Girl, you go on ahead with your life as usual,
But I will start it from it all started!
